Piszemy wspólnie legendę
Postanowiliśmy z partnerskimi szkołami napisać krótką legendę .
Jej bohaterem został WAWELSKI SMOK.
Piotrek z Vd napisał polski tekst i po przetłumaczeniu,
już w wersji angielskiej, wysłaliśmy go do zaprzyjaźnionych szkół.
"The Travel Wawel dragon"
A long time ago in great knights and queens' times, the Wawel
Dragon lived. People were not very happy that the Dragon took a fancy to
live in a cave near to Krakow.
People suspected the Dragon of eating humans but it was not a true!
Everybody was against him so they expelled him from Krakow.
The Dragon felt upset about what people had done.
-Why did they banish me?! What a stupid idea!
The Dragon wandered from one place to another. He visited the whole Poland
but another didn't want him.
If you do not want me, I will leave this land. Maybe, I will
find my happiness in Romania, Italy ,Greece,France?
Yes! - That is it!
I am leaving! bye bye!
(Podróż Smoka Wawelskiego
Dawno temu, w czasach wielkich rycerzy i królowych , na Wawelu mieszkał
Smok . Ludzie nie byli bardzo zadowoleni, że mieszka w jaskini w pobliżu Krakowa .
Wiele osób podejrzewało Smoka ,że spożywał ludzi, ale to nie była prawda!
Każdy był przeciw niemu, więc wydalono go z Krakowa.

The Travel Wawel Dragon in Rome
After the journey he was very thirsty and he went to drink to the river Tiber.
Here he met a she-wolf; together they went to the Colosseum and here they saw men fighting against tigers. The dragon thought”Here men kill animals!
It’s better to go away!”And he flew away.
When he was high in the sky he saw a very big pool and he dived into it;the dragon did not know that the big pool belonged to the Thermal baths of Caracalla and the water was very hot, too hot for his sensitive flakes.
“Help!!!!They want to cook me in a soup!”He run fast beyond the city walls and then he saw a group of soldiers. They soon named it “knight without a horse”.They rode it and flew from Rome to Cracow. When they arrived in the Polish city they started to throw arrows, spears and fire brands that the dragon inflamed with its burning mouth.
So they finally conquered the city and justice was done!
The citizens in Cracow begged forgiveness to the dragon and they elected it Lord Mayor of the city!
Druga wersja powstała przy współudziale szkoły greckiej z Rodos.
After a two days trip the dragon arrived in the is-land of Rhodes. People started screaming and left the port. The majority of people locked themselves up at home be-cause they were afraid that the dragon might eat them alive. The dragon was very sad and started crying. While he was walking along a village he suddenly saw a house in flames. A six year old boy was crying because his mother and father were inside the house. The dragon immediately ran into the house to save the little boy’s family and with his wings he started to put out the fire. He managed to take the whole family under his arms and save their lives. He then told them “I don’t eat humans as people think in Poland. I’m just ashamed of going out because of my ugly appearance. I wish you would let me stay in your island forever. It has wonderful sandy beaches and the sun always shines.” So the whole island allowed him to stay in Rhodes. H e lived in a cave and he was happy at last. He was close to the sea and he ate fish and fruits that people offered him when they visited him. And they all lived happily ever after!!!!
